The Search Process

What follows is a description of our search process and the terms under which we operate. Our record suggests that we have developed a very thorough search process which has enabled us to identify and recruit the best available talent for a wide range of positions.

CONSULTATIVE PHYSICIAN SEARCH PROCESS

I. INTRODUCTION
    
1.

Provide biography and discuss personal background and experience.

2.

Provide and discuss Corporate Client List.
(specific experience)

3.

Evaluate practice opportunity and provide a "Needs Analysis Study".

4.

Discuss candidate qualifications and position description.

5.

Design compensation package and assist in development of candidate agreement, i.e. Employment, Net Income Guarantee, Gross Income Guarantee.
   

II. INITIATION/STRATEGY
   
A.

Site visit community to thoroughly accomplish the following:

1.

Research community in preparation for us to present your community positively and professionally.

2. Research and evaluate practice opportunity.
3.

Establish interview procedures.

4.

Develop game plan for search.

5. Meet with members of medical staff and recruiting committee, and other participants who will make or influence decisions in writing.
6.

Confirm community profile activities and decisions in writing.

7.

Develop written profile of community and practice opportunity.

8.

Obtain approved copy of client/physician agreement.
   

B. Candidate Search Process:
1.

Research active physician data base to identify candidate meeting client's specification.

2.

Initiate direct mail advertising campaign to surface candidate prospects.

3.

Interview potential candidates to determine qualifications and interest in practice opportunity.

4.

Identify qualified candidates and request tentative date for site visits.

5.

Update client bi-weekly on status of sourcing activities.
   

C. Candidate Interview Process:
1.

Present qualified candidates to client and schedule interviews for acceptable candidates.

2.

Arrange itinerary of candidates, make airline, hotel and rental car reservations.

3.

Call spouse to identify non-professional considerations.

4.

Submit written profile on candidates including qualifications, licensure, background material and references.

5.

Plan interview process with client.

6.

Develop information package for candidate.

7.

Give client feedback on physician interview.

8.

Accompany candidates on site visit if necessary.
  

D. Candidate Negotiation Process:
1.

Contact both client and physician after site visit to determine interest.

2.

Research additional information required by client or physician.

3.

Obtain authorization from client to extend offer to candidate.

4.

Finalize terms of agreement with client and candidate.

5.

Obtain signature of candidate by meeting candidate and spouse.

6.

Notify client by phone of final acceptance by candidate.

7.

Forward signed agreement to client.
   

E. Candidate/Client Assistance:
1.

Assist in licensure and credentialing.

2.

Monitor relocating process and keep client/physician updated on status.

3.

Promote courtship between client and physician during relocation process.
   

F. Guarantee:

As a demonstration of our commitment to the success of a search, we provide a performance guarantee. If the successfully recruited candidate leaves the client for his/her own reasons within the first six months of employment, we will conduct the search again with no additional professional fees to the Client. We are personally responsible for the conduct of the search and would use whatever resources of the firm necessary to ensure a thorough and expeditious search.
